We work on a wide variety of technologies including AWS, Angular, Java, Python, REST/API, PL/SQL, HTML and Kafka.We are seeking a Principal Full-Stack Software Engineer to be part of our team supporting our bond portfolio management and trading products. As a member of this team, you will partner closely with our investment team on the Fixed Income trading floor, and interact directly with quant analysts, portfolio managers, traders and portfolio and research analysts to build new and innovative tools that will support and improve our investment processes.The Expertise You HaveBS or MS in Computer Science or related degree8+ years of experience in software engineering; 2+ years of experience as a technical leadProven experience in a full stack software development environmentUnderstanding of and experience within an Agile/Scrum framework preferredThe Skills You BringExperience as a technical lead supporting multiple teams, providing guidance and oversight for junior engineers; Partnering with Architecture, Data Services, Cloud Platform Teams, etc. to propose, design, develop and implement solutionsComfortable with a broad set of technologies including deep knowledge of middleware Java stack, Spring framework, Oracle, messaging technologies (EMS or KAFKA) RESTful APIs and web containersExperience with Angular required; Experience with UI tech stack/Single Page Applications desirable: HTML, JavaScriptPossess full-stack software development knowledge and critical thinking skills to craft end-to-end solutionsA passion to learn new things, including the Asset Management and Fixed Income investment domainsYou are self-motivated, driven, and have a strong client focus and results-orientated approachComfortable developing Angular based user interfaces and Java based middle tier servicesFamiliarity with developing and running software on cloud service providers like Amazon Web ServicesThe Value You DeliverDeliver time-to-market solutions, helping business partners use technology in an exploratory, highly iterative environmentHelp our investment teams evolve their investment processes, to meet both short-term needs and long-term trends, through the use of technologyYou will collaborate with Architecture, Data Services and other Technology Teams to improve the performance and scalability of our applications and workflowsProvide outstanding support, including rotational on-call support
