Design, Implement, And Manage Infrastructure On AWS

PennyMac is looking for an individual to design, implement, and manage scalable and resilient infrastructure on AWS. The role involves architecting and maintaining Windows/Linux based environments, ensuring seamless integration with cloud platforms. The candidate will develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using AWS Cloudformation/CDK and Terraform. Additionally, they will design and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD for .NET applications. The role also requires implementing and enforcing security best practices across the infrastructure and deployment processes. Collaboration with development teams to understand their needs and provide DevOps expertise is essential.

Skills and Requirements:

  • 5 years of DevOps experience
  • Extensive hands on AWS experience
  • Strong skills within both Linux/Windows server administration and integration with cloud environments
  • Experience with IAAC tools - Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK
  • Development background with Python, Bash, Powershell, etc.
  • Strong background with AWS EC2 features and Services (Autoscaling and WarmPools)
  • Understanding of Windows server Build process using tools like Chocolaty for packages and Packer for AMI/Image generation
