The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role is critical to the success of our operations and company, as you will be instrumental in the design and build-out of a modern data layer. What You'll Do You will be designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient data pipelines and data warehousing solutions. You will be lead the design, build, and deployment of data solutions within an agentic framework, ensuring high performance and reliability. You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and product managers, to understand data needs and deliver impactful solutions. Implementing and optimizing data ingestion, transformation, and storage processes. You will ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data platforms. You will leverage AI-powered development tools to enhance data engineering workflows and automation. You will be responsible for deploying and managing data infrastructure in cloud environments , optimizing for cost and performance. You have the opportunity to mentor junior data engineers and contributing to best practices and architectural decisions. You will need to stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in data engineering and AI. What You Will Need to Succeed You need expertise in Python and/or C# for data engineering and application development. You will need to have proven and demonstrable experience designing, building, and deploying in an agentic framework. You need proficiency in AI-powered development tools and their application in data solutions. You need extensive experience building and deploying data solutions in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). You have proven experience in the AdTech or MarTech industry, understanding the unique data challenges and opportunities. You bring a strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts. You have experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) is a plus. You have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Location: Cincinnati, OH in Over-the-Rhine; Hybrid role, in office 2 days per week
