Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with over 5 years of experience, dedicated to automating processes and crafting data solutions for Finance and Accounting teams. This role is pivotal in supporting Accounting Reporting, Analytics, and various business initiatives by collaborating closely with both business and technical teams to implement efficient, automated data-driven projects. The successful candidate will design and execute ETL pipelines, develop sophisticated data models, and create analytics and reporting solutions, ensuring end-to-end project management and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data automation solutions across teams such as Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance.
- Handle end-to-end project management from design to production, maintaining stakeholder relationships.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain scripts and jobs for analytics and reporting solutions.
- Build, manage, and optimize ETL pipelines, applying transformations and loading data into data warehouses.
- Design and refine data models for efficient reporting and analytics, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
- Experience in designing scalable ETL frameworks and data modeling.
- Proficient programming skills in Python or similar.
Industry Experience:
- Background in Accounting, Finance, Banking, or a related industry is a plus but not required.
