ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• 20% - Assists customers in troubleshooting problems. Minimizes the "bouncing" around before a solution can be identified. Quickly resolves customer problems.
• 20% - Works to aid new (or existing) customers applications with product selection. This includes providing wind analyses for specific mast applications. Ensures the correct product is selected for the application.
• 20% - Develops proper design specifications for non-standard specialty products in accordance with customer needs. Facilitates processing of specialty products and eliminates delays.
• 15% - Develops documentation to support specialty products. This documentation includes proper test procedures, manuals, work instructions, wind speed charts, etc.
• 15% - Provides customers with technical specifications for Will-Burt products to include in their RFQ specifications. Ensures that our products are targeted in end user specifications.
• 10% - Assists Product Development Engineering in gathering feedback from customers during the Beta phase of development.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
BSME Degree with a preference of 2 to 4 years related experience and/or training; knowledge and ability to use 3D CAD Software (preferably Autodesk Inventor).
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as specifications, government contract terms and conditions, operating and maintenance instructions, and installation manuals. Ability to write compliance matrices, routine reports, and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to perform static analyses to determine the survivability, failure mode and/or concept validity of a mechanical system.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
