Summary:
Designs, installs and manages security mechanisms that protect networks and information systems against hackers, breaches, viruses and spyware. Responsible for detecting, eradicating, and preventing security threats in the NT environment. Reviews malware and related security events and conducts additional analytics to determine if event requires additional incident response actions by other parties. Respond to incidents, investigate violations and recommend enhancements to plug potential security gaps.
Knowledge:
-SAST, DAST, Vulnerability Management (required)
-experience working with DevOps (required)
-7+ years of experience in Cyber Security / Application Security or related fields
• Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines • Applies best practices and how own area integrates with others • Is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market • Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus
• Leads team with knowledge and execution of security tooling in the software development lifecycle
Location: Must be local to Chicagoland and willing to come into office 3x per week. If you are not local, you must relocate at your own expense.
Salary Range: $114,500 - 194,700 USD
Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
