Software Quality Engineer You will be the Software Quality Engineer for our team in Grand Prairie, TX. Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining Systems & Software Quality Engineering (SSQE) common processes that align with industry standards, such as AS9100 and CMMI, to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. What You Will Be Doing As the Software Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our software products meet the required standards and specifications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including systems and software development, test and evaluation, and project management, to guarantee compliance with contractual and company requirements. Basic Qualifications STEM degree at Bachelors level or above, preferably in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience/combined education Ability to obtain a security clearance Demonstrated basic understanding of audit techniques Ability to interpret Schematic Drawings, Specifications, Contracts that will enable development and review of Systems & Software QE Processes, and related Performance Metrics Software Quality or Engineering experience in Requirements Analysis, Design/Development, Product Integration and Test Good understanding of software dependencies, process flow and development methodologies Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical/process issues varying from basic to very complex Ability to interpret software design and code (C/C++) to verify implementation of requirements Test Equipment Hardware knowledge or background skills Effective Communication Skills: Written, Oral, Listening, Presentation, Technical Writing Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Ability to travel Desired Skills STEM degree at Bachelors level or above, preferably in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering preferred.
