Software Quality Assurance Engineer (Python/SwiftUI) Cupertino, California, United States Description As an Apps Program QA Software Engineer, you will be responsible for testing both existing and newly developed features across all supported Apple devices. You will create test plans, design test cases, and conduct gray-box, structural, and ad-hoc tests to ensure Apple Reminders and Notes meet Apples standards for the highest level of quality. Additionally, youll escalate bug reports and drive issues to resolution. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the development of new features that will enhance our products. Minimum Qualifications 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance with the ability to read Python and/or SwiftUI code Experience with end-user functional testing, focusing on user experience Experience setting up complex test environments with a strong understanding of SQA methodologies and practices Excellent organizational skills for bug reporting and managing critical issues across multiple projects Proven ability to conduct detailed investigations, analyze system logs, and identify root causes of issues Excellent interpersonal skills (both oral and written) for collaborating with external teams and driving issues forward Creative thinker and strong problem solver Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience Preferred Qualifications Experience testing Apple Intelligence features with a solid understanding of the broader AI/ML ecosystem Proficiency in a second language At Apple, base pay is part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this role is between $118,500 and $244,100, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
