Software QA Engineer with Product Owner expertise unknown Job Type: Contract , Contract-W2 , Corp-To-Corp Were looking for a meticulous and product-minded QA/Product Owner to join our team. This hybrid role bridges Quality Assurance and Product Ownership perfect for someone who combines deep testing experience with the ability to spot usability issues before customers ever encounter them. Youll be a key player in delivering polished, intuitive, and high-performing web and mobile applications that meet real user needs.The position is hybrid (Monday- Thursday onsite).Duration of the project 12 months with the possibility of extension. Responsibilities: Own the end-to-end quality of customer-facing applications across web and mobile platforms Design and execute comprehensive testing strategies (manual and automated), ensuring seamless and intuitive user experiences Collaborate with developers, designers, and stakeholders to prioritize product usability and quality Define and maintain test plans, test cases, and defect tracking for both UI and API testing Translate user behavior and product requirements into clear QA deliverables Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to product refinement with a user-first mindset Continuously identify UI/UX gaps and advocate for enhancements before release Support product backlog grooming and user story validation to ensure technical and user-facing accuracy Education and Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance, with strong experience in both mobile and web application testing Demonstrated experience with manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Cypress, Selenium) Strong working knowledge of the SDLC and Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban) Prior experience acting in a product owner or product-focused QA role Proven ability to anticipate user pain points and call out poor UX or workflow early in the lifecycle Experience validating APIs and running data-driven tests to ensure full back-end and front-end coverage Detail-obsessed, methodical, and passionate about delivering clean, customer-centric products Excellent communication skills and comfort collaborating across technical and non-technical teams Nice to Have: Experience in defining and iterating user stories or product requirements Background in user research or customer feedback integration Familiarity with performance or load testing tools Build and execute automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Selenium) from scratch as needed Why Join Us?
