14085 - Software Engineer/Data Engineer (onsite) - Palm Beach Gardens, FL Start Date: ASAP Type: Temporary Project Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client's site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.

Required: • Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Palm Beach Gardens, FL (required); • Experience as a Software Engineer/Data Engineer (2+ years); • Experience with Python programming; • Experience with data libraries such as numpy, pandas, and polars; • Experience with relational databases and SQL; • Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services; • Experience with Git workflows and collaborative development practices; • Experience with REST API design principles and implementation.

Preferred: • Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript; • Experience with Nest.JS API framework; • Experience with database libraries such as TypeORM and SQLAlchemy; • Experience with GitHub Actions for DevOps automation; • AWS Certified Developer Associate or Solutions Architect.

Responsibilities: • Provide technical or functional guidance to project or work teams as needed within a specific discipline; • Collaborate on an on-going basis with the Business Systems Analyst; • Research and explore new data sources, understanding their interfaces and APIs; • Design, build, and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into a central database; • Modify and extend existing API infrastructure to provide additional CRUD endpoints supporting new data types and features; • Maintain and enhance DevOps procedures, including containerization and deployment of ECS • Tasks, Step Functions, and related data pipelines on AWS infrastructure; • Analyze, design, develop, test, debug, implement, maintain and/or enhance existing or new systems that are reliable and efficient.
