The Video Applications team develops high-profile media creation applications used by millions of people. iMovie, Final Cut Camera, Final Cut Pro, Motion, and Compressor are groundbreaking media authoring tools that consumers and creative professionals rely on for everything from broadcast news and feature films to documentaries and home movies. We're looking for an experienced software engineer to join our team focused on defining and implementing our privacy-first instrumentation capabilities for Video Applications. You will work with cross-functional partners to collect data for our media applications to improve the creator experience while preserving user privacy. You should have experience in user interface implementation, cross-platform applications, instrumentation frameworks and/or application architecture.

Minimum Qualifications
Strong experience in Swift and/or Objective-C, C/C++ Proven software engineering background including key concepts such as data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design Ability to develop and ship high-quality software products Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with others Passionate about the power of data to drive product innovation and improvements BS or MS in Computer Science preferred, or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with media content creation tools is an added plus
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,500 and $258,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
