Role Overview: We are seeking a Software Engineer focused on Test and Privacy to enhance our automated testing frameworks, ensuring robust privacy compliance and quality assurance across our platforms. Your Responsibilities: Design and implement automated test frameworks and tools to address testing gaps. Collaborate with infrastructure and product engineering teams to enable comprehensive automated testing. Act as a project manager to track progress, report on status, escalate risks, and devise solutions for obstacles. Foster a culture of quality within Meta's Tech Audit and Centralized Privacy organization by advocating for high testing standards. Design and implement high-quality automated tests to ensure privacy adherence and release readiness. Remote Work: Telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. is permitted. Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field, along with two years of relevant experience. Proficiency in coding with languages such as C, C++, Java, or C#. Strong skills in Python, Bash, MATLAB, or Haskell. Experience with Unit Testing and Integration Testing. Working knowledge of Linux, UNIX, or similar operating systems, including file manipulation and shell scripting. Familiarity with core web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Ability to perform root-cause analysis on software issues. Experience in developing software tests and test-framework strategies. Knowledge in data processing, programming languages, databases, networking, operating systems, computer graphics, or human-computer interaction. Compensation: The estimated compensation ranges from $194,628 to $229,900 per year, supplemented by bonuses, equity, and benefits.
