The team is responsible for designing, developing, and manufacturing aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of a large network of software professionals working on cutting-edge technologies across various domains such as aircraft control, air traffic management, healthcare, and homeland defense. The role involves developing embedded software in C/C++ (version 11 or higher), integrating algorithms, and supporting hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) environments. Responsibilities Develop embedded software in C/C++ (version 11 or higher) Integrate algorithms into applications Plan and conduct software development activities Design, develop, test, and debug software for real-time embedded systems Apply knowledge of hardware and software to develop solutions Correct program errors and document development processes Qualifications Experience in real-time embedded software development Proficiency in C/C++ (version 11 or higher) Experience with Linux Ability to interpret customer needs and work with multidisciplinary teams Final Secret Clearance Experience with hardware/software integration and HWIL environments Ability to work on-site in Dallas Preferred Skills Fortran, Bash scripting Hardware testing, embedded systems, simulation systems Git, Gitlab, JIRA, Agile methodologies Experience with FPGAs, closed-loop systems, optical design, MATLAB, MS Excel Benefits & Additional Information This position offers a competitive salary range ($89,300 - $157,550) depending on location and experience, along with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more.
