In this role, you will develop custom software tools to enhance engineering capabilities and streamline processes, collaborating closely with hardware and systems engineers. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain custom software tools to support various engineering tasks and workflows Collaborate closely with hardware and systems engineers to understand their needs and requirements Implement efficient and scalable solutions for data analysis, simulation, and automation Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment Optimize existing tools and processes to improve productivity and efficiency Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members Document software designs, APIs, and user guides for developed tools Stay up-to-date with the latest software development technologies and best practices Qualifications: Required: 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience 1+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience Experience programming with at least one software programming language Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
