We're looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to help ensure the quality and reliability of our data-driven products.

What you will do:

Design and build effective testing processes to support the Data Team in testing for a fast-growing product Setup and maintain test environments for manual and automated testing Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and cases Automate test cases as well as write reusable scripts/tools that help the team reduce repetitive efforts Coordinate with Product Management and Data Engineers to deliver stable software products What you will need to have: 6-10 years of experience with JSON, RESTful APIs, and Postman 4+ years of experience testing against relational databases and Cloud Data Warehouses (Snowflake preferred) 4+ years creating and executing comprehensive test strategies 2+ years of experience in Python programming 2+ years of implementation experience in banking or finance Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work or military experience What would be great to have: General experience with JMeter, PgAdmin, GitLab, Kafka, Jira, Confluence, Swagger, Kibana, AWS Experience in programming languages, preferably Postgresql, Snowsql, Go Orion is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, citizenship status, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
