As a member of our engineering team, you will:
Design and develop scalable software solutions that elevate the customer service experience and minimize customer challenges.
Lead initiatives that empower our Customer Service Associates (CSAs) to adeptly solve complex customer issues.
Create systems for data-driven decision making while ensuring the utmost protection and privacy of customer data.
Implement solutions enabling CSAs to offer personalized support with efficiency and consistency.
Collaborate closely with product managers and stakeholders to identify customer pain points and devise cross-functional solutions.
Develop monitoring systems to track customer impact issues and establish automated escalation paths for speedy resolution.
Work with cross-functional teams to diagnose customer experience defects and create systematic remedies.
Guide and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and customer obsession.
Build tools that support CSAs in delivering tailored solutions, maintaining operational efficiency at scale.
Participate in on-call rotations to uphold high system availability and reliability, addressing customer issues with urgency.
In this role, you will work with advanced technologies including:
Core programming languages like Java.
Linux operating systems.
AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
Distributed systems and microservices architecture.
Database technologies and data structures.
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of professional software development experience.
2+ years of design or architecture experience focused on reliability and scalability of new and existing systems.
Proficiency in at least one programming language.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience through the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
