Job Summary:
We’re looking for an experienced Snowflake Migration Architect / Lead Data Engineer to lead the development of scalable, high-performance data solutions. In this role, you’ll architect Snowflake environments, manage Kafka-based data ingestion pipelines, and drive ETL development using Talend. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior engineers, setting data standards, and ensuring end-to-end pipeline efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and optimize scalable Snowflake data models and solutions

• Design and manage real-time and batch data ingestion pipelines using Kafka

• Develop, monitor, and troubleshoot Talend ETL workflows

• Define and enforce data mapping standards, validation rules, and transformation logic

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions

• Lead and mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices

• Ensure data quality, documentation, and adherence to governance standards

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7–14 years of total experience in data engineering, with strong Snowflake expertise

• 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and managing Snowflake-based architectures

• In-depth knowledge of Kafka for event-driven and streaming data ingestion

• Proven experience with Talend or equivalent ETL tools

• Strong proficiency in SQL, including performance tuning and complex transformations

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
