This position is responsible for the engineering, design, administration, and maintenance support of voice communication systems and related network infrastructure across the health system. The role serves as a subject matter expert (SME) and Tier 3 escalation point for telecommunications technologies, providing expert-level technical support, documentation, and troubleshooting for data/voice network issues such as carrier and internal SIP trunking, T1, QoS, VLAN tagging, and LAN/WAN connectivity. The Telecommunications Analyst will also be the key contact for vendor support and will interface closely with various IT teams to ensure optimal voice and communication services. Skills Telecom, Avaya, Troubleshooting, VoIP, Cisco voice, Cisco Call Manager, Ring Central, Telecom engineering, Telecommunications systems, Installation, Tier 3, LAN, WAN, SIP trunking, Data center operations, Support Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor of Science Degree in computer science or equivalent experience Four to five years of combined telecommunications and IT network systems experience Certifications Cisco CCNP and/or CCIPP, or Avaya and Ring Central training/certificates preferred Other Skills and Abilities Must live within 60 minutes of metro Boston and report to various sites in Boston, Manchester, NH, and Brockton Knowledge of ServiceNow, carrier support portals, and vendor support systems Familiarity with Office 365 applications and technical cabling and wireless technologies Experience with data center layouts, fiber termination, and power distribution Pay and Benefits The pay range is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
