The Senior Data Science Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced data models and analytics solutions, managing data-driven projects from conception to deployment. This role requires a strong understanding of data science methodologies, programming, and project management principles to ensure successful project delivery.
Minimum experience: 10-15 years
Main Functions Focuses on machine learning, AI, and predictive modeling
Tools Used ML Libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch), AI APIs
Industry Application AI-driven sales forecasting, customer intent prediction
Data Science Development Design and implement predictive models and complex algorithms to analyze large datasets.
Utilize machine learning techniques to extract insights and drive business strategy.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data science opportunities that align with business objectives.
Project Management Manage the full project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
Coordinate day-to-day tasks and workflows of the project team, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
Scope and define tasks using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Atlassian).
Monitor project performance against goals, budget, and timelines; report progress to stakeholders.
Stakeholder Communication Manage stakeholder expectations by providing regular updates on project status and outcomes.
Communicate complex technical findings in an understandable manner to non-technical stakeholders.
Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Requirements Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Extensive experience in data science roles with proven expertise in machine learning, statistical analysis, and programming (Python or R preferred).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation tools.
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
