In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time.
To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers.
We are seeking a Senior Systems Integration and Test Engineer to join our SI&T team in Aurora, Colorado.
What You Will Do
In this role, you will work with cross-disciplinary team of engineers who are leading the industry in ground systems solutions.
Conduct integration and test activities as a member of an Agile Release Train team
Identify technical issues during software and hardware integration and collaborate with fellow engineers to drive solutions to closure
Development of automated test scripts and their execution
Troubleshooting and debugging issues
Work in an Agile program environment
Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant systems integration and test experience or 3 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree in STEM.
Experience with systems integration and test for a software product, in an Agile, CI/CD environment including regression testing, test scripting, and test automation tools
Experience with hands-on Integration and Test engineering
Experience troubleshooting and debugging a software-based system or product, Experience with Linux Red Hat, Python, and Perl
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret/SCI security clearances required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment
Experience with ground station and satellite domains (such as terrestrial data networking, command and telemetry, launch operations, flight dynamics, mission planning, on-orbit operations), CompTIA Security + or equivalent certification
Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
Experience in Test Automation experience (Cucumber, Gherkin, Zypher)
Experience with Java, C++, or Python, Experience with Linux operating system, Experience in a Cloud environment; AWS certification is helpful

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
