Overview
i3 is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our growing team. The Senior Systems Engineer will design, develop, and test solutions to complex applications problems in the systems engineering field as well as analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system and subsystem requirements.
Responsibilities
Support development teams throughout the development lifecycle for DOD weapon system platforms
Provide programmatic and technical support for implementing new technical systems through the DoD approval process.
Develop system requirements & designs based on customer input
Responsible for verification & validation of system requirements associated with new hardware designs.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, or relevant discipline. Additional years of experience may substitute for degree.
Minimum 22 years of relevant experience required.
Previously supported a major defense weapon system program in a high-visibility environment with mission-critical responsibilities.
Proven ability to envision, model, and produce designs to meet functional requirements.
Knowledge and/or experience with Agile Scrum development methodology and associated tools.
Knowledge and/or experience with requirements analysis tools (. Rational Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS), Innoslate, CAMEO).
Experience with Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)
Active DoD Secret security clearance and the ability to maintain such is required.
U. S. Citizenship is required.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Regular i3 hours are 8:00 . - 5:00 . Monday-Friday, however, additional hours may be required on occasion. Regular and punctual attendance is required.
