Responsibilities:

Design system configuration, determines hardware, software and functional specifications, and perform system installations.

• Provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Manage and aid in project plan development and execution for server and network infrastructure upgrades.
• Make recommendations to clients regarding systems or procedural improvements.
• Perform integration tasks for acquired companies as assigned.
• Review Centaris presence in Microsofts cloud for adherence to best practices as assigned.
• Collaborate with Sales to provide strategic direction to our clients.
• Responsible for on premise, cloud, and data center infrastructures.
• Implement and manage data backup solutions.
• Support virtualization technologies.
• Administer and maintain remote monitoring and management system; update agent scripts, respond to alerts, monitor dashboard, and perform periodic system review.

Education and Experience:

Experience preferred but not all necessary:

Bachelors degree, preferably in Computer Science, or Information Systems (or related degree/equivalent combination of work experience).

• Professional IT certifications.
• 10+ years of administrative support experience.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues involving:
  • Server applications such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, group policies, etc.
  • Microsofts core business applications (Exchange, SQL, etc.) and operating systems (servers and desktops) as well as line of business applications.
• Knowledge of remote access solutions including VPN, Terminal Services, and Citrix.
• Experience with MS Azure, EntraID, M365, and O365.
• Experience with SharePoint and Teams.
• Advanced technical support and the ability to troubleshoot at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, Layer 2/3 switching, routers, firewalls, and security.
• Advanced understanding of operating systems, business applications, printing systems, and network systems.
• Experience with VMware up to version 8.0
