In this role, the Global Hardware Quality and Reliability team is responsible for the quality components and solutions to fuel Google's physical infrastructure.

As a Mechanical Supplier Quality Engineer, you evaluate product designs and create processes, tools and procedures behind quality solutions powering Google's technology. When suppliers build parts for our infrastructure, you will ensure manufacturing processes are repeatable and controlled. You will collaborate with Commodity managers and Design engineers to determine Google's infrastructure needs and product specifications. You will ensure that the various pieces of Google's infrastructure fit together and keep our systems humming along smoothly for a seamless user experience. You will be responsible for setting and managing the supplier quality and reliability standards for our Mechanical Infrastructure across Google's supply base. You will be the Quality and Reliability expert with a track record of improving the quality of thermal deliverables during New Product Introduction (NPI) as well as

maintaining it throughout the life cycle. You will have extensive involvement in the tools, processes and technologies used to assess mechanical product quality and reliability. You will leverage partner

management skills and utilize data to deliver manufacturing process improvements.Behind everything our users see online is the architecture built by the Technical Infrastructure team to keep it running. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$202,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
