My client is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with extensive experience in NYC-based projects to lead structural engineering teams and oversee the delivery of innovative structural systems. This role is ideal for a PE-licensed professional who thrives in leadership positions and is passionate about mentoring and driving excellence across interdisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct structural design and analysis from concept through construction phases.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, architects, and technical staff.
- Interface with clients, consultants, and city agencies to ensure design integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain control over project budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
- Oversee quality assurance and technical documentation, ensuring the highest standards are met.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 10 years of structural design experience on projects within New York City.
- PE License in New York State (required).
- Demonstrated leadership in managing project teams and stakeholder relationships.
- High-level proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, RISA, AutoCAD, and Revit.
- Thorough knowledge of NYC building codes and local construction procedures.
- Strong communication and organizational capabilities.
