Role and responsibilities Serve as the product owner for computational lithography software tools, overseeing requirements analysis, system design, qualification, and customer adoption. Collaborate closely with customers to understand their environment and needs, customizing products to fit production lines, ensuring trust and satisfaction throughout the product lifecycle. Push engineering boundaries to meet customer requirements, plotting technical paths, and raising innovative approaches. Work with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test new lithography products, leading efficient project execution. Design and integrate complex systems to deliver end-to-end solutions for customer challenges. Lead technical support and troubleshooting for lithography products across different products. Anticipate risks and emerging needs, evaluating new technologies for potential integration. Optimize the product development process, improve documentation, and develop new methodologies and testing procedures to enhance team efficiency and engagement. Transfer knowledge to team members, coaching work methodologies and role-modeling as a product owner. Education and experience Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Physics, Chemistry, or related fields. Strong understanding of computational lithography principles and semiconductor manufacturing processes. Knowledge in optical physics, image/signal processing, deep learning, computer architecture, and optimization is preferred. Experience in scanner optics, semiconductor integration, in-line metrology, and overlay is a plus. Minimum of 5 years in computational lithography roles, preferably in senior positions within leading-edge logic or memory chip manufacturing or RET/OPC software industry. Alternatively, at least 3 years of experience in machine learning applications with real product development experience. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Scripting skills in Python and LUA are preferred. Experience in system design and integration for comprehensive solutions. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in teams. Ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly. Leadership qualities to guide and inspire teams towards project goals. Role within Office Responsibilities Routinely sit, walk, talk, hear, use hands for keyboard and handling objects, and occasionally move around the campus. Occasionally lift/move up to 20 pounds. Travel may be required domestically or internationally based on business needs. Vision requirements include close, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment. The California base annual salary range for this role is $200,000 - $320,000. Pay scales depend on role, level, location, and market data. Compensation is determined through interviews and assessments of skills, education, experience, certifications, and market factors.
