We are the AI Search & Workflows QE at ServiceNow involves ensuring the quality of the AI-powered search and workflow automation features within the Now Platform. This includes verifying that AI Search provides relevant, accurate, and personalized search results across various data sources, and that AI-driven workflows function as expected. QE (Quality Engineering) teams test these features to identify and resolve issues, ensuring a smooth and effective user experience What you get to do in this role: Maintain existing automation test frameworks Collect and report quality metrics from test execution Work with developers to design specific testing strategies for features being developed and automate them Create comprehensive test plans; execute and automate them Partner with the engineering organizations in troubleshooting or addressing issues with applications and dev/test environments
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have: Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry. 5+ years of experience with quality assurance and Java programming with Selenium, JUnit and TestNG 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience. Hands on experience with Generative AI (GenAI) tools, frameworks, or platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, Azure OpenAI, LangChain, etc. Fluency with scripting in JavaScript. Experience with Eclipse, Jenkin, Maven, and Git Knowledge of testing techniques (e.g. performance, unit, integration, automated), their strengths and weakness, and ability to use them to best effect Ability to use tools (such as IDE, debugger, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances, profilers, system administration/Unix tools) to assist with daily tasks Experience driving cross-team technical discussions with a knowledge of SDLC concept
For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $112,800 - $191,800, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
