As a software engineer, you will work on a specific privacy project critical to TikTok's needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward. With your technical expertise, you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions. You will have the opportunity to collaborate or manage an offshore team. 1. To take charge of privacy protection and data security platform development, and deeply take part in privacy platform infrastructure optimization. 2. To take charge of providing a productized solution, with multiple tools and components such as privacy algorithm , design, security toolkit, and workflow, mitigating security risk. 3. To investigate cutting-edge research results, explore available new solutions to eradicate existing privacy pain points. 4. To drive the evolution of architecture continuously.

Minimum Qualifications: 1. Proficient in one mainstream programming language: C++/Java/Golang/etc, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems,Solid understanding of object-oriented programming 2. Familiar with various design and architectural patterns, understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application, UML modeling. 3. Familiar with classic mainstream databases: Mysql/redis/mongodb/Hbase/Hive and messaging systems such as kafka/rocketmq. Preferred Qualifications: Familiar with micro service architecture, experience with data tagging/ access control/ code lineage tracing/ data governance is a plus but not a must. Experience with cross cultural communication.
