Senior Software Engineer - Medical Device Development

This role is based out of our state-of-the-art facility in Andover, MA, where we passionately work on patient monitoring products. While this is a hybrid position, it requires a minimum of 3 days a week in the Andover office. Key Responsibilities: Lead software architecture, design, implementation, and testing for our medical devices. Improve procedures for development efficiency, software quality, and product cost. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software throughout all product development phases. Diagnose, debug, and resolve software defects independently. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams. Coordinate software module development and set clear goals for timely project completion. Perform unit, subsystem, and integration tests to ensure software quality. Support team building and provide ongoing technical guidance to junior engineers. Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and industry regulations, including FDA guidelines. Enhance software configuration management practices. Your Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred). A minimum of 8 years of software design and troubleshooting experience. Proven expertise in technical leadership within advanced software development settings. Experience with Agile methodologies is preferred; medical device industry experience is a plus. Strong programming skills in C++ with familiarity in Windows application development. Knowledge of debugging in Visual Studio and networking protocol programming (TCP/IP and UDP).
