Responsibilities: * Backend (70%) - Architect, build, and optimize high-performance APIs and backend services in Node.js (primary), with contributions in Python and GoLang. * Work with MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and DynamoDB to design and tune data flows for speed and scalability. * Tackle large-scale distributed system challenges - billions of events, massive datasets, and sub-second response times. * Frontend (30%) - Build responsive, modern UIs using React, TypeScript, Tailwind, HTML/CSS to bring features to life. * Collaborate across product, data, and design to deliver full-stack features from idea to deployment. * Profile, debug, and optimize performance across the stack - no silos, no hand-offs. * Contribute to architecture, code reviews, and technical decision-making.

Requirements: * 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a proven track record in backend/API development. * Deep expertise in Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript) for backend systems. * Strong experience with React, TypeScript, Tailwind, HTML/CSS for frontend work. * Hands-on experience with at least one NoSQL database (MongoDB, Elasticsearch, or DynamoDB). * Sharp problem-solving skills and the ability to figure things out fast. * Familiarity with Python or GoLang (bonus if both). * Comfortable working in a lean, fast-moving, Agile environment. * Bonus: AWS experience and background in large-scale distributed systems.
