As a Senior Software Engineer for AI Test Automation, you will validate safety-critical AI systems and lead the design and implementation of testing pipelines to ensure model accuracy and robustness. Responsibilities: Lead the development of scalable model evaluation frameworks for safety-critical AI systems. Implement verification and validation strategies to ensure AI systems meet aviation certification standards. Collaborate with systems, AI/ML, and data engineering teams to test, analyze, and enhance the performance and reliability of neural networks. Develop automated testing pipelines to evaluate AI system performance under various simulated and real-world scenarios. Create tools and metrics to assess AI model accuracy and failure modes, identifying areas for improvement. Qualifications: Required: Bachelors degree in Computer Science with 7+ years of relevant experience 3+ years in software quality assurance or test automation, with experience in test infrastructure for neural networks, ML metrics (e.g. OKS, IoU) Proficiency in Python and Bash, with experience in UNIX/Linux Familiarity with workflow orchestration, and local cluster tools (e.g., Dagster, Docker, SLURM) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commitment to quality and safety Preferred: Knowledge of AI safety concerns, including adversarial attacks, robustness, explainability, and uncertainty estimation Experience in developing safety-critical systems for the aviation industry or other highly regulated sectors (e.g., automotive or healthcare) Experience with C/C++ software or test development A passion for aviation and autonomous systems Company: Acubed is an aerospace center that provides flight services with artificial intelligence technology.
