Overview

As Speechify expands, our AI team seeks a Senior Backend Engineer. This role is vital for scaling infrastructure, optimizing product workflows, and building resilient systems. If you enjoy strategic thinking, high-paced work, and taking ownership, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Develop state-of-the-art voice cloning technologies
• Improve low-latency and cost-effective text-to-speech solutions

An Ideal Candidate Should Have

• Proven backend development experience, especially in Python
• Experience with GCP; familiarity with AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers
• Ability to ideate and implement efficiently, prioritizing impact
• Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
• Proficiency in deploying high-availability applications on Kubernetes
• Experience deploying NLP or TTS models to production

Salary

• The US base salary range for this full-time role is $140,000–$200,000 plus bonus and equity, depending on experience
