The Oracle Cloud Security Assurance team is looking for an innovative Senior Security Software Engineer to enhance security measures across Oracle. Key Responsibilities Design, prototype, and implement effective security solutions for complex challenges. Develop and test reusable data schemas. Create impactful dashboards tailored for diverse end-users. Advise software development teams on efficient detection methods. Lead and promote the development of security tools (e.g., scanning tools). Consult on secure development lifecycle practices. Establish verification mechanisms. Define best practices for security configuration and implementation. Qualifications Ability to interpret standards and create actionable attestations. Experience in managing large, distributed, continuously deployed services. Familiarity with traditional and cloud networking concepts. Understanding of configuration and posture management practices. Proficient in troubleshooting technology (HTTP/API/log review). Experience integrating secure engineering within the Software Development Lifecycle. Able to scale operational activities using Python, Bash, and related tools. Experience creating automated security solutions. Skilled in conducting research within extensive datasets. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
