We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Security Engineer to join our team. With over 10 years of experience in security engineering, the ideal candidate will possess expertise in Azure FIM, Windows Hello, and CIS compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing security measures that protect our organization's assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Security Systems Design: Design, implement, and manage robust security systems, protocols, and policies to safeguard organizational assets.
• Azure FIM Integration: Integrate and maintain Azure Forefront Identity Manager (FIM) solutions for enhanced identity management and security.
• Windows Hello Authentication: Implement and manage Windows Hello for secure, biometric authentication processes.
• CIS Compliance: Ensure organizational adherence to Center for Internet Security (CIS) benchmarks and guidelines.
• Risk and Vulnerability Management: Lead efforts in conducting risk assessments and managing vulnerabilities within IT systems.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with IT and other departments to bolster security systems and protocols.
• Threat Mitigation: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential threats to the organization's IT infrastructure.
• Standards Development: Develop and enforce security standards, procedures, and guidelines across the organization.

Requirements

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years in security engineering or a related field.
• Azure FIM Expertise: Extensive knowledge and practical experience with Azure Forefront Identity Manager.
• Windows Hello Implementation: Strong expertise in deploying and managing Windows Hello authentication processes.
• CIS Compliance: Proven track record of ensuring and maintaining CIS compliance in enterprise settings.
• Security Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cloud Security: Experience in cloud security, particularly with Microsoft Azure environments.
• Security Operations: Familiarity with security operations and incident response strategies.
• Security Tooling: Knowledge of security tooling and industry best practices.

Azure Experience:

• Familiarity with Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) for identity and access management.
• Knowledge of Conditional Access policies for secure access control.
• Familiarity with Intune for mobile device and application management.
• Familiarity with Defender for Cloud for cloud security posture management.
• Understanding of Azure File Integrity Monitoring for detecting unauthorized changes.
• Exposure to Azure ARC for managing hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Active Directory and Group Policies:

• Strong experience in managing Active Directory environments, including user accounts, permissions, and domain services.
• Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting Group Policies for security and compliance.
• Vulnerability and Compliance Management:
• Hands-on experience with Qualys or similar tools (e.g., Tenable, Rapid7) for vulnerability scanning, assessment, and compliance reporting.
