Participate in software design, development, documentation, and implementation using SAP Commerce
Meet project objectives within specified time frame parameters and defined requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and performance
Optimize application performance through code analysis and refactoring
Assist with the deployment and configuration of SAP Commerce solutions
Lead and mentor junior engineers on best practices and coding standards
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SAP Commerce updates and new features
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering
6+ years of significant backend development experience
Hands-on production experience in Java 17+ and Spring Framework
Experience in application development using Git, Dynatrace, Kibana/OpenSearch
Proven track record of experience using SAP Commerce Cloud
Strong knowledge of Agile software development methodologies, including TDD and/or BDD
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Experience with RESTful services and APIs
Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL or NoSQL
Nice to have
Experience with CI processes and tools (Jenkins/GitLab CI)
Preferred experience with SAP composable storefront (Spartacus)
