We’re looking for a Senior Robotics Engineer with deep, hands‑on experience building, deploying, and scaling large‑format industrial robotic manipulation systems‑think high‑payload robotic arms used in automotive, manufacturing, or warehouse automation environments.
This role is ideal for someone who started as a robotics generalist (strong in C++ and fundamentals), then moved into industrial automation, integrating robotic arms that handle heavy or complex parts with high precision. You should be comfortable taking a system from concept → simulation → integration → production scale.
You’ll work on advanced manipulation pipelines involving motion planning, perception integration, control strategies, and real‑time system performance. You’ll collaborate directly with mechanical, electrical, software, and perception teams to deliver reliable automation behaviors that operate safely and consistently at scale.
What You’ll Do
Design, build, and optimize manipulation behaviors for large industrial robotic arms (high‑payload, multi‑DOF systems).
Implement and maintain real‑time robotics software in modern C++ (C++14/17/20).
Develop and tune motion/control algorithms (trajectory generation, collision avoidance, force control, etc.).
Integrate perception inputs (3D vision, sensors) into manipulation pipelines.
Work on full‑stack robotics behavior: simulation, planning, control, safety, deployment.
Own system‑level debugging across hardware, firmware, and software.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with hardware and automation teams to scale reliable robotic behaviors.
What You Should Have
4–10+ years building robotic manipulation systems in industry.
Direct experience working with large industrial arms (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB, Yaskawa, UR for high‑payload, etc.).
Strong proficiency in C++ and real‑time software development.
Experience in warehouse automation, automotive manufacturing, or other scaled robotic assembly environments.
Experience with motion control, path planning, kinematics/dynamics, torque/force control, etc.
Ability to take a system from prototype → production reliably.
Bonus Skills
Experience with simulation tools (Isaac, Gazebo, Mujoco, Drake, etc.)
Background integrating robotics with perception (3D vision, cameras, depth sensors.)
Seniority level Mid‑Senior level
Employment type Full‑time
