Base pay range $105,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr
We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Engineer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality of software applications.
The Role
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, integration, and regression testing.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and develop test plans.
Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify defects and issues.
Work with the development team to ensure that automated tests are integrated into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
Identify areas for improvement in the testing process and contribute to the overall QA strategy.
Maintain and enhance the existing automation framework.
Provide detailed reports and metrics on test results and overall software quality.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the team’s best practices for automated testing.
Stay current with industry trends and tools in QA automation.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.
Experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber).
Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Knowledge of API testing and tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
