:
Perform checks on the structural, architectural and M&E materials/works to ensure that the final touch-up works are ready for inspections.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure works are in compliance with method statements (in accordance to BCA’s Good Industry Practice & approval from the clients and consultants)
Monitor the performance of subcontractor workers for all trades and ensure any defects are properly rectified
Report any non-conformance (NC) and issue corrective action request (CAR) where necessary
Implement the QA/QC management system at site
Coordinate with the client’s representative on all quality matters.
Participate in the quality internal and external audits.
Coordinate with the site construction manager on all quality issues, and assess, feedback on the construction process and procedures
Root cause analysis on quality related issue and propose the preventive measure action.
Liaise with NDT Company to support project team.
Ensure all quality control documentation is compiled handover for final project documentation and compliance with CONQUAS
Execute quality control as per site specific materials and Works Quality Plan.
Arrange and liaise with BCA for CONQUAS/QM assessments. Act as the primary quality liaison with clients and consultants, updating them on QA/QC matters and addressing quality concerns directly related to CONQUAS scoring.
Attend to client ’s defects during Defect Liability Period.
Work closely with site engineers and supervisors to ensure construction methods comply with CONQUAS specifications, providing guidance on quality protocols and rectifications or even conducting relevant training as needed.
Requirements :
Diploma/ bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field
Candidates who possess 5-7 years of design and build experience in a QA/QC role within the building main contractor firm, with added experience in managing Quality Marks assessment processes or certifications a significant advantage
Good knowledge of construction quality control/assurance is necessary
Certifications: BCA-Approved CONQUAS training or relevant quality certification such as ISO 9001:2015 in Quality Management Systems.
Familiar in conducting quality audits and surveillances; and proficient in the concepts of construction productivity, sustainability and QAQC
