HireNow Staffing is hiring on behalf of a top-tier firm that's actively seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead innovative design projects that shape skylines and communities alike. What You'll Do
Take the lead on structural design efforts for major projects think hospitals, high-rises, and institutional builds. Engineer steel and concrete systems that meet strict code requirements while staying architecturally elegant. Collaborate with a cross-functional team: BIM specialists, architects, consultants, and project managers. Own design calculations and detailing from schematic through construction administration. Provide mentorship to junior staff, helping build the next generation of structural engineering talent. Assist with seismic evaluations and retrofit solutions (ASCE 41), especially in high-risk zones. Contribute to project planning, technical presentations, and client-facing discussions. What You Bring 7-10+ years of hands-on structural engineering experience (building-focused). Master's degree in Structural Engineering from a U.S. university. Deep familiarity with Type I construction (steel and concrete). Comfort working across a wide variety of building types of healthcare, commercial, institutional, aviation, and more. Confidence using Revit and collaborating within a BIM-integrated workflow. Bonus points for experience with DSA and HCAI/OSHPD reviews. Even more bonus points if you've worked on seismic retrofit projects (ASCE 41). Ideal Extras SE License (preferred but not required).
