Senior PCB Layout Engineer Job Purpose: As part of the systems design team, the candidate will perform multilayer, controlled-impedance printed circuit boards layout and analysis for leading edge power, digitaland RF electronics for medical, high performance, automotive, and aerospaceapplications. Nature of Duties/Responsibilities: Perform PCB layouts inPCB layout tools to meet critical design and signal integrity constraints. Work closely with hardware design, simulation, and manufacturing engineers to define and implement PCB routing and manufacturability constraints. Work closely with PCB fabrication companies to ensure impedance design targets are met while meeting manufacturability constraints for high volume production. Generate and revise all engineering documentation required to fabricate the PCB designs including ECOs, gerber databases, and fab drawings.

Experience: Previous high speed and high density interconnect layout experience involving processor, DDR3/4 memory, and high speed serial interface such as PCIe and Ethernet is a must Detailed understanding of high speed digital PCB routing constraints Detailed understanding of multilayer PCB construction Familiar with constraints-driven PCB layout methodology Experience with advanced PCB manufacturing techniques such as blind vias and microvias Hands on working knowledge of current PCB layout tools including Mentor Expedition, Cadence Allegro and Altium Experience in the use of Mentor Hyperlynx or alike for pre and post route Signal Integrity & Power Integrity simulations Solid mechanical drafting skills, experienced with use of AutoCAD for 2D mechanical drawings Experience with use of schematic capture tools such as OrCAD, Cadence Concept, or Mentor Experiencewith Rigid Flex design is a plus Experience with use of CAM tools such as Valor or CAM350 is aplus. Experience with high-reliability, aerospace, and/or IPC Class 3 designs is aplus Familiarwith DFM, DFA and DFT is desirable Solid computer skills. Experience with MS Word/Excel/Project. Must be detail oriented and have a proven ability to organize, analyze, set priorities, and multi task in a fast paced environment Solid oral and written communication skills

Education: BSEE, BSEET degree or equivalent.

Salary Range(annual): $98,000 - $120,000 In addition, Sanmina Providesa variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
