Senior Network Engineer

IQVIA is seeking a talented and driven Senior Network Engineer to join our Global Network Support team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with a skilled group of professionals to deploy and maintain robust network infrastructures across branch offices and data centers worldwide. Our team partners with Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Global Real Estate teams to integrate new acquisitions into IQVIA’s network standards. We ensure seamless connectivity and performance across our global footprint.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide global Network system connectivity and engineering support.
Assess and diagnose technical problems, identify root cause and recommend solution.
Develop automation solutions for network systems.
Implement Global Network Services (GNS) standards by taking high level architecture designs to low level, producing bill of materials for projects, and quoting
Provide advice, support and guidance on supported network systems, applications and appliances to other internal network engineers, internal and external customers.
Direct technical services and serve as technical lead, managing connectivity planning, documentation and support across local and regional geographies.
Provide primary problem management support by receiving, troubleshooting, and solving the daily incidents, requests, and escalations reported by internal and external customers.
Provide technical leadership and recommendations for projects that impact multiple departments or countries.
Mentor junior team members.
Perform other duties as required.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Advanced Cisco routing and switching (WAN/LAN), Cisco SDWAN, Identity Services Engine, Unified Wireless and other Cisco technologies.
Strong knowledge of network segmentation and security in the data center
Branch office automation experience with Cisco DNA – other vendors a plus
Experience with Palo Alto Panorama and firewalls
Experience with F5 load Balancers
Experience with Linux command line and tools
Knowledge of Cisco ACI
Administration of services such as DNS and Efficient IP (IPAM)
Possess strong task/timeline-oriented skills to ensure projects are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Possess excellent organizational, communication (both verbal and written), and technical skills.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Networking or related field; with minimum 5 years of experience in networking environments or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Administrator) - preferred

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $76,200.00 - $190,300.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
