We're building a dual-fuel hydrogen-diesel plugin system to retrofit vessels and reduce their environmental footprint and we’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to help make it happen. What You’ll Be Doing : Lead the design, testing, and deployment of dual-fuel (hydrogen-diesel) retrofit systems for internal combustion engines on ships. Develop and execute test plans, process diagrams, and safety assessments. Interpret test data to improve 1D / 3D combustion models and drive performance upgrades. Provide hands-on support with IC engine components and hydrogen fuel system troubleshooting. Oversee on-board system installation and ensure operational success. Apply knowledge of combustion chemistry, pollutant formation, and fuel behavior in engine settings. Requirements : Master’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Strong technical foundation in mechanical and electrical systems. Experience working with dual-fuel internal combustion engines. Familiarity with hydrogen systems is highly desirable. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, NX). Hands-on, implementation-focused mindset. Bonus If You Have : Ph.D. in engineering. Background in maritime or automotive industries. Experience with ship engineering documentation or classification standards (e.g., Lloyd’s Register, DNV). Skills in LabVIEW, MATLAB, Python, or CFD simulation tools like GT-Suite or CONVERGE.
