Basic Qualifications Accredited bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required
12+ years of experience in an Architecture/Engineering environment
Proven success managing commercial mechanical engineering projects
Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, energy systems, and related disciplines
Experience mentoring and supervising engineering staff
Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
LEED or sustainability certification
Experience with large-scale commercial and institutional projects
Familiarity with local building codes and energy efficiency standards
Key Responsibilities Lead mechanical engineering projects of varying size and complexity from start to finish
Supervise and mentor engineering staff, fostering technical growth and career development
Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to ensure integrated design solutions
Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring quality and timeliness
Interface directly with clients to meet project expectations and maintain strong relationships
Support proposal development and participate in business development activities
Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and best practices throughout project lifecycle
