What will you be doing? Dive deep into production processes to uncover inefficiencies and propose innovative, cost-effective solutions that drive growth Design and elevate manufacturing processes for both new launches and existing products, transforming ideas into reality Tackle production challenges head-on by spearheading cross-functional teams and putting corrective actions in place to streamline operations Collaborate closely with quality, design, and supply chain teams to ensure our products are not just designed well, but are also easy to manufacture Embrace the future by implementing cutting-edge automation and digital manufacturing technologies that enhance productivity and efficiency Share your expertise by mentoring junior engineers and production staff, fostering a culture of learning and excellence Amplify key performance indicators (KPIs) relating to efficiency, scrap rates, and downtime, making a tangible impact on overall performance Uphold safety and quality standards, ensuring every product meets the highest benchmarks Play a pivotal role in the planning and execution of capital projects, driving essential equipment and process transformations that propel the organization forward
What are the minimum qualifications? A Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering:Mechanical, Manufacturing or Process, etc. At least 7 years of relevant experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment Certification as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is essential; a Black Belt certification is highly valued A proven track record of successfully leading continuous improvement projects that deliver remarkable results A deep understanding of statistical analysis and process control, including SPC, DOE, and PFMEA Experience with ERP and MES systems, complemented by proficiency in CAD and simulation tools Exceptional communication, leadership, and project management skills A passion for modern manufacturing practices, including the transformative power of Industry 4.0 technologies
What will make your rsum stand out? Skilled in AutoCAD 3D or SketchUp Strong Understanding of regulatory compliance, including FDA and ISO 13485, AS9100 Solid foundation in automation systems, robotics, and smart manufacturing technologies
