We at Continua have built an AI agent that users can invite into group conversations to make planning, coordination, and information retrieval effortless. It's early days for this specific Continua product, but we think we're onto something. You can try adding 207-849-6643 to group texts to test it out. We've seen rapid growth over the last month, and are looking for someone to help us improve the quality of our agent experience and scale to the next level. This is a hybrid position based in Seattle, WA or New York, NY. What you'll do: You'll work on building and improving the best LLM group chat experience. This includes: Fine-tuning models to enhance conversational quality and scalability. Owning new ideas for engaging features and developing them from concept to production across the stack. Developing a "memory" system to create personalized and unique user experiences. Making technical decisions that balance innovation and practicality. Who you are: You are an experienced machine learning engineer with broad skills. You pay attention to detail when necessary but also balance speed and quality in a fast-paced startup environment. You: Understand the pitfalls and tricks of building with LLMs, especially RAG systems. Have experience with high-quality ML system development. Are comfortable working across backend systems and codebases, not just in notebooks. Have proficiency in Python (Go is a plus). Can work independently and handle ambiguity.
