Summary
Under supervision from the IT Manager, The Senior Infrastructure Engineer is an expert in multiple realms. This position plays a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining a secure and scalable infrastructure across our enterprise. This position will have extensive experience with enterprise systems including Active Directory, Office 365, Citrix, VMware, network storage architectures, and both LAN and WAN networking. This position is responsible for helping to guide as well as implementing technology initiatives.
Essential Functions
- Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-level infrastructure solutions to support business operations and growth.
- Maintain and optimize Active Directory and Office 365 environments, including identity management, authentication, and security configurations.
- Implement and enforce Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies to protect sensitive information.
- Contribute to the design and execution of a Data-Centric Security Architecture, ensuring data protection at rest, in transit, and in use.
- Administer Citrix environments for remote access and application delivery, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Manage VMware infrastructure, including provisioning, performance tuning, and resource optimization.
- Design and manage multi-tiered network storage solutions, including SAN and NAS configurations.
- Develop and maintain LAN and WAN network architecture, ensuring redundancy, scalability, and security.
- Work collaboratively with cybersecurity, compliance, and application teams to ensure infrastructure supports security and business needs.
- Conduct regular capacity planning and performance analysis to maintain high levels of service availability.
- Lead or support infrastructure-related projects, providing technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or systems administration in a complex enterprise environment.
- Proven expertise in:
- Active Directory (GPOs, OU structure, Federation, etc.)
- Office 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- Data Loss Prevention technologies and methodologies
- Data-Centric Security Architectures
- Citrix (VirtualApps and Desktops, Citrix ADC [NetScaler])
- VMware vSphere and related virtualization technologies
- Network storage (SAN, NAS) including tiered storage solutions
- General Understanding network design for LAN/WAN, including routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls, and loadbalancers
- Expert level certifications such as MCSE, VMware VCP, Citrix CCE-V, or similar preferred
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS) preferred.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, etc.) preferred.
- Experience with monitoring and management platforms (e.g., SolarWinds, WhatsUp Gold, Netwrix) preferred.
- Strong understanding of enterprise security principles and best practices.
- Experience in regulatory requirements and audits.
- Experience managing complex infrastructure for a financial institution.

Salary Description
$118,800-$153,900 per year DOE
