Position Description:

CGI Federal is currently looking for a Senior Information Systems Security Engineer with active TS clearance to support a large project for a federal government client. The Senior Information Systems Security Engineer will have the opportunity to work in an agile environment, utilizing a variety of skills and languages in a fast-paced, cutting-edge setting where their input can enhance processes and team interactions.

This position will be based in the Clarksburg, WV area. Your future duties and responsibilities:

· Provide technical expertise for secure engineering and design of cloud-based solutions via automation.

· Brief diverse audiences on technical matters and convey information clearly and concisely.

· Prepare written reports and oral presentations for designed projects for presentation to a variety of individuals within and outside the organization.

· Implement, operate, and maintain infrastructure and applications with a focus on cloud security.

· Conduct industry research to create detailed reports, whitepapers, and technical comparisons.

· Lead or co-lead technology projects with enterprise dependencies.

· Develop, maintain, and revise policies and guidelines relating to information security.

· Ensure compliance with government security standards and industry best practices, including NIST RMF and NIST security and privacy controls.

· Collaborate with diverse teams of architects, developers, and integrators. Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

· Active TS/SCI clearance.

· Bachelor’s degree in software development or related discipline.

· Expert level understanding of Cloud Security Providers (CSP) and secure engineering for AWS and Microsoft Azure.

· Working knowledge of agile development methodology, specifically including Scaled-Agile Framework (SAFe), lean systems development, and CI/CD methodology.

· Experience developing and maintaining technical documentation.

· Hold at least one of the following security certifications: Security +, CGRC, CASP, CISSP.

· Ability to influence and persuade others, along with strong oral and written communication skills.

· Minimum of 8+ years' experience as a Senior-level IT professional.
