Your Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering 3+ years of embedded design experience, particularly with C/C++ Experience with bare metal and RTOS environments Familiar with JIRA/Confluence or similar project management tools Knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals, including circuit design and analysis Preferred Qualifications: Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field 5+ years of experience in embedded software development focusing on C/C++ and networking Experience with Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) or Audio Video Bridging (AVB) Strong understanding of gPTP (IEEE 802.1AS) and AVTP (IEEE 1722) Familiarity with Layer 2 Ethernet protocols, including multicast, VLANs, and Quality of Service Embedded TCP/IP network stack knowledge (e.g., lwIP) Understanding of single-pair Ethernet standards and PLCA concepts Proficient in network debugging tools, particularly Wireshark Experience with ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers in RTOS environments Familiarity with Zephyr OS If you believe you can contribute to Ford's mission, we encourage you to apply!
