Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
5+ years of professional experience in front-end and full-stack software development.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Deep experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly React (others like Vue or Angular also applicable).
Familiarity with Shopify’s Hydrogen or similar eCommerce-focused frameworks.
Experience with CSS pre-processors (e.g., SASS/SCSS) and CSS-in-JS libraries.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and backend integration strategies.
Demonstrated expertise in responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Strong team player with a proven ability to work in a collaborative hybrid environment.
Familiarity with the Shopify Plus toolset including Hydrogen, Oxygen, and its supporting ecosystem.
What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
Advanced experience with React Hooks , Redux , or Context API .
Familiarity with TypeScript .
Knowledge of build tools and bundlers such as Webpack or Vite .
Experience with testing frameworks like Jest , Cypress , or React Testing Library .
Exposure to eCommerce platform architecture and domain knowledge.
Additional Information: This job may be eligible for relocation benefits. Compensation : The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York, Colorado, California, or Washington. The salary range for this role is 158,000 to 241,900.
