Role & Responsibilities Lead investigative projects, coordinating with clients and managing resources. Perform site visits, laboratory examinations, and data collection on various properties. Write comprehensive technical reports, analyze data, and determine causes of failure. Review and interpret building codes relevant to the scope of work. Oversee development of repair or replacement designs if requested. Make independent decisions on analysis methods and resource allocation. Ensure timely project delivery and maintain client rapport. Qualifications Active PE license required. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred. CFEI certification preferred. Minimum 10 years of experience in forensic electrical engineering or relevant design experience. Proven ability to produce detailed technical reports. Strong organizational and time management skills. Additional Details This is a remote role; candidates must reside in the San Francisco Bay or Sacramento areas. Salary Range: $140,000 - $275,000 USD annually. Seniority level: Mid-Senior level. Employment type: Full-time.
