(SIE) is a full-service consulting engineering firm based in downtown Manhattan providing services in civil, structural, transportation engineering, bridge & facility inspection, construction management & inspection and lighting design. We are engaged in local community improvement projects to large, high-profile, multi-billion-dollar infrastructure projects with a strong reputation of delivering a wide range of projects for our clients in the public sector.
SIE is looking for a  Senior Field Engineer – Rail/Transit  to support various MTA C&D transit construction projects in Brooklyn, NY .  This position will be responsible for the construction management, including quality, schedule, and overall client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Construction management of multidisciplinary rail construction projects
Inspecting, monitoring, and overseeing construction field work tasks
Reviewing contractor schedules and payments
Conducting constructability review
Coordination with MTA and other stakeholders
Qualification & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Master's degree in Engineering (Preferred)
Licensed Professional Engineer, Registered Architect, or Certified Construction Manager (preferred)
6+ years of experience in rail construction projects including stations, line structures, communications systems, and track work
Experience with MTA C&D (including NYCT, LIRR, MNR, Amtrak, NJ Transit, and PANYNJ)
NYCT facility experience
OSHA 30, PMG123 Training, NYCT Track Training, and 4 Hr Supported Scaffold training (Required)
Expected salary range is $120,000 - $140,000 annually. Actual compensation will be dependent on the individual’s qualifications, skills, experience, and physical work location.
